More than just a shawl, it is a living story — a revival of century-old weaving traditions from a small village in Swat, where men weave on traditional “Gada” looms and women embroider each shawl with care, detail, and dignity. With every purchase, you’re not only embracing quality and elegance but also empowering rural families in northern Pakistan

The Story Behind the Shawl – From Islampur to You
In the peaceful hills of Islampur village in Swat, generations of craftsmen and women have preserved the art of weaving. While the men sit at their handlooms (Gada) and weave fine wool into shawls, women adorn each piece with intricate hand embroidery, passing down their skills from mother to daughter.
This shawl is a tribute to their resilience, creativity, and culture. At Nayab’s Rogue, we are proud to redefine tradition by connecting these beautiful stories with customers who value authenticity and social impact.
Whether you wear it to stay warm or style it for formal wear, this Swati wool shawl speaks of heritage, elegance, and empowerment.
